Not sure what I was looking for,
found the silence within.
Beneath it all,
all the hustle, laughter, battle cries shut down
and just lied a sense of peace,
looking for nothing but its own existence.
Whoever I am,
and whoever I become
I guess the silence within will walk along.

"In order to see birds you must be one with the silence." - I've forgotten who wrote that, but it's true. To figure out what's going on around us, we need to pause, be silent, and take that moment.
