The battles of time.

Sitting in the middle of a battlefield, with unresolved issues on both sides, I felt lost.

One says - it is defending the interests of the future, saying the resources are running out. The other is playing for history, saying enough injustice was imposed, seeking it to be undone.

And they kept fighting.

The other said - the past injustices are very important to be fought about, as beyond unkept promises, what those who left suffered, wasn't worth the pain. The ones raise their flags, make new rules to exclude some more others and explore new grounds to fight about.

And they kept fighting.

Some argue that they're younger and seek privileges like the grown ups had availed to grow up. Those who have grown up push the ladder away and call the last climber the cheater.

And they kept fighting.

Some sought reparations, and the others, revenge.

And they kept fighting.

Some rules were made, some rules are broken. New battlegrounds, new areas chartered.

And they kept fighting.

They all love the one motherland, its the same world they fight for and about. Yet, they keep fighting.

And here I am, lost and not found

Or; wherever you could be, peace.

  2. One thing is certain, you won't beat the clock, and neither will I. Every generation, almost without exception, declares itself to be immortal and endowed with new ideas. They declare a new birth - the dawning of a new age. The reality (also subjective) is that the core is our personal search for happiness, and a way to find joy in life.

  3. There seems to be too much to fight over these days.

  4. It isn't the fighting that bothers me. It is the lack of listening. We are fractured into small groups that do not listen to other view points.

  5. I am an eternal optimist, governments and heads of states have their own agendas and can begin wars. I believe there will be enough people with enough common sense to question and stop them. A fight can start over a little misunderstanding - we need to communicate more.

Interesting, isn't it? different people have different perceptions of love. And some just love themselves while pretending to love the world
